India Pale Ales are characterized by intense hop bitterness and high alcohol content. This copper-coloured ale has a strong hop aroma and flavour with a hint of grapefruit.
A dark copper-coloured beer with low carbonation and a head that disperses to a thin head around the glass. Malty on the nose and malty to taste, perhaps a little too much. There's a hint of this not being fermented out fully. Having said that, I really enjoyed it. That slightly-too-sweet taste disappears and gives way to a long-lasting, intense, grapefruit-like bitterness. And as it warms to room temperature it improves.
